He Cried when my Mom did THIS
And what it taught me
As-Salaam Alaykum,
I hope Ramadan is going well for you.
During these last ten nights, I want to remind you of something important.
Ask Allah for whatever you desire.
Even if you think it’s too big.
Remember that Allah is Al-Wāsiʿ the All-Encompassing.
So ask BIG.
Today I want to share a story that reminded me why Muslims should strive to earn more.
A family friend was organising his son’s wedding.
He had hired a camera crew to capture the event.
But there was a problem.
He suddenly hit a financial wall.
He couldn’t pay for the camera crew.
The wedding was approaching quickly, and he was desperate.
He didn’t want to miss the chance to capture this priceless moment for his family.
So he came to my mother and asked her for financial help.
Without hesitation, my mother helped him.
I don’t remember the exact amount, but I believe it was more than $500.
The moment she handed him the money…
He started crying.
He was overwhelmed with gratitude.
It was as if that one act saved an entire memory from collapsing.
A priceless moment for an entire family was saved because someone had the ability to help.
Although I wasn’t there when it happened, hearing my mother tell that story triggered something in me.
It reminded me why we do what we do as Muslim entrepreneurs and professionals.
The money we earn isn’t only for ourselves.
It’s also to make life easier for others.
And that changed someone’s entire day.
Sometimes we hear people say things like:
“Money is evil.”
Or:
“Muslims shouldn’t try to earn too much.”
But I saw firsthand what a lack of money could have done in that situation.
It could have ruined a special day for a family.
And I understood how having the ability to give instantly restored joy and relief.
Now think about this.
Somewhere in the world right now:
A family in Gaza may need a hot meal.
Someone who fled Sudan may need shelter.
An orphan in Bangladesh may simply need textbooks to pursue their dream of becoming a doctor.
If you had the ability to help them today…
You could completely change their day.
Maybe even their life.
That’s why I believe Muslims should strive to increase their income.
But not at the expense of their deen.
And not at the expense of their family.
This is exactly why I talk so much about Barakah Hours.
Because Barakah Hours allow you to do more in less time.
When Allah places Barakah in your effort, small work produces big results.
And those results allow you to help more people.
If you want to learn how to structure your time so you can get more done in fewer hours and scale your income with Barakah, I built a system for you :
So you can build a life where your success benefits not only you…
But also countless others.
May Allah accept your worship in these last ten nights and place immense Barakah in your life and work.
JazakAllahu Khayran,
Ali
