Let’s design your Akhira

You always plan your Dunya goals. Why not your Akhira goals?

Assalamu Alaikum,

This is a topic that genuinely excites me.

And I hope that by the end of this letter, you’ll be just as excited as I am.

Now… let's begin.

Being a Muslim is so cool.

We live a temporary life in the Dunya. Then we enter a real, everlasting life in the Akhira.

That reality is frightening — but it’s also exciting.

Let me explain.

If someone asked you right now:

  • What's your dream job?

  • Your ideal house?

  • Your career goals?

You’d probably answer these in a heartbeat.

But what if I asked you:

“What do you want in your Akhira?”

Most of us would go blank.

Islam gives us a clear blueprint for Akhira goals.

One of the most amazing things about our religion is that the Prophet ﷺ actually told us the exact rewards of certain deeds.

Here are just a few:

  1. Saying: SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illa Allah, Allahu Akbar
    → Plants a tree in Jannah. 🌴
    (Sahih - Tirmidhi 3469)

  2. Saying: Astaghfirullah regularly
→ You’ll be happy when you see your Book of Deeds.
    (Sahih - Ibn Majah 3819)

  3. Sending Salawat on the Prophet ﷺ:
→ Increases your chance of his intercession on the Day of Judgment.
    (Sahih - Tirmidhi 484)

  4. Saying: La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah
→ Unlocks a treasure in Jannah.
    (Sahih - Bukhari 4206, Muslim 2704)

  5. Reciting Surah Ikhlas 10 times
→ Builds you a palace in Jannah.
    (Sahih - Ahmad 22978)

Now let me ask you again:
What would you like to have in your Akhira?

Would you want a massive palace?
Would you want to be close to the Prophet ﷺ when you need him most?

These things are not out of reach.

They just require:

  • your tongue

  • your heart

  • and small daily consistency

SubhanAllah… how cool is that?

Here’s the best part:

When you start thinking about your Akhira more…
the Dunya starts to fall into place.

Because The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“Whoever sets the Hereafter as his goal, Allah makes his heart rich, organizes his affairs, and the world comes to him despite being reluctant.”

Sunan Ibn Majah 4105

You’ll notice:

  • Less overthinking

  • More clarity

  • procrastination fades away

  • And even your problems start to fade — by Allah’s help.

Now let’s get practical.

What’s one Akhira goal you want to start building today?

Write down what you want to have in your akhira.

Write down the deed that helps you get it

Set it as a small daily task.

here’s an example:

  1. “I want to have a huge forest in Jannah “

  2. repeating subhanallah, alhamdulilah, la ilaha illa llah and Allahuakbar

  3. “I will commit to repeating these adhkar daily for 5 mins “

And remember: Allah doesn't expect perfection — just sincerity.

Jazakum Allahu Khayr,
Ali
