My tooth almost ruined my Monday

But Alhamdulilah this is what saved it

As-Salamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

I hope you're doing well.

Life is full of unexpected tests.

Yesterday, I was out with my mom and some family visiting from out of town.

We went for lunch.

And halfway through, I got hit with tooth pain.

Severe tooth pain.

The kind that makes you sit there questioning your life choices.

I didn't expect it.

But there it was.

Today I went to the dentist and found out I need a root canal.

A procedure I don't fully understand.

A process that'll take time.

An interruption I didn't ask for.

But as always, Alhamdulilah for everything.

And here's the thing.

Monday is my newsletter day.

It's when I write my newsletters.

It's my rhythm. My plan. My schedule.

And then life said:

not today.

But here's the thing.

Despite the pain.

Despite the unexpected dentist trip.

Despite the interruption to my entire day.

I still got this newsletter out Alhamdulilah.

I still showed up.

I still met my Monday schedule.

Not because I’m cool or anything like that.

The reason is simple.

I've made my business so simple that even when life throws something at me, I don't fall apart.

See, most business owners build complicated systems.

Too many tasks.

Too many moving parts.

Too much them involved in everything.

And the moment something unexpected happens, the whole thing collapses.

Because they're the system.

Everything depends on them.

But I did something different.

I delegated the stressful tasks in my 6 figure biz.

And I’ve optimised things like content so that I don’t burn entire days on work.

I've built processes so simple that even when life gets in the way, they still work.

Like my newsletters.

I talk into the Claude voice recorder.

I get it to organise my ideas.

I edit it so that it sounds like me.

Then I hit the publish button.

Done.

A process that used to take me 45+ mins takes me around 20 now.

Think about your own life for a second.

What happens when your kid's teacher calls and needs to meet with you urgently?

What happens when you get a call that a family member needs you at the airport?

What happens when you get unexpected news that shakes your entire week?

If your business falls apart, if your income stops, if everything depends on you showing up perfectly every single day

That's not a business.

That's a job that owns you.

And here's the emotional truth beneath all of this.

Peace of mind isn't about having a perfect schedule.

It's about knowing that even when life gets messy, your business still functions.

Your income still flows.

Your responsibilities still get handled.

Because you're not the only one holding it all up.

That's what systems do.

That's what delegation does.

It doesn't just free up your time.

It frees up your mind.

It lets you actually be present when life happens.

When your mom needs you.

When your family visits.

When your body breaks down and needs rest.

You're not panicking about whether your business will survive the day.

You already know it will.

So as a business owner, your real job isn't to do everything.

It's to build something that works without you in it constantly.

That's freedom.

That's what allows you to live while you're building.

Which is why I’m so big on optimising your Business with Barakah.

So that you can actually earn more while working less.

That's exactly what I teach in my coaching and in Barakah Flow.

Because working smarter isn't just about productivity.

It's about peace.
