Walking has changed my life Alhamdulilah
And it will change yours too
As-Salamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
I hope you're doing well.
Last Tuesday, I was planning on writing a post but then I got lazy and said “I’ll do it tomorrow”
And I'm glad I didn't.
It was after Asr.
I wanted to write a post for Threads.
But I had zero ideas.
No motivation. No energy.
Just laziness.
And honestly, I was ready to call it a day.
And push it to tomorrow.
So I did what I normally do nowadays.
I went for a walk.
And just for some context, I always hated going for walks.
My friends call me lazy cuz I’d rather take a 2 minute drive then go for a 10 minute walk.
So this is what made me start walking:
A couple months ago, I got injured playing football.
Couldn't exercise for a while.
Gained a few kilos.
So now walking is how I'm getting back in shape.
Because walking helps you burn fat faster than running.
And Alhamdulilah it’s working.
I try to aim for 40+ minutes outside.
You can do twenty. Thirty. Doesn't matter.
Just walk.
So now back to the story:
I came back home right before sunset.
And something shifted.
Ideas started flooding in.
Specifically, the exact idea for a post I wanted to write.
So I had dinner, chilled for a bit then I sat down and wrote it.
And Alhamdulillah, that post got seventeen point six thousand views.

Lol it is ironic that the post itself is about walking.
But here's what actually surprised me.
After walking, I usually chill.
That's my wind-down time.
But instead, I felt this buzz of energy.
This motivation I don't usually have in the evening.
And I just had to write.
Had to create.
Had to push through.
And that's when I realized something.
Walking does something to your brain.
I'm not a neuroscientist, but apparently it increases blood flow to your prefrontal cortex.
That's the part responsible for focus. For clear thinking. For ideas.
So when you walk, your ideas formulate better.
Your thinking clarifies.
Your energy actually increases.
Think about how many times you've pushed work to tomorrow because you "didn't have energy."
How many times you've said "I'm not feeling motivated right now, I'll do it later."
How many times that "later" never came.
Most Muslim entrepreneurs don't realize this.
You think productivity is about grinding harder.
But sometimes the most productive thing you can do is step away.
Go for a walk.
Let your mind breathe.
And here's what I noticed after my walk.
My mind was clearer.
The mental noise faded away.
And Subhanallah that's the power of it.
Walking quiets your mind.
It lets you think without all the mental clutter.
It charges you up when you're running on empty.
So here's my challenge to you.
Go on a 20 min walk.
Just 20 minutes.
And while you're walking, repeat Subhanallah slowly.
When you see a tree, say SubhanAllah and think about who created it.
When you see a car with all its parts assembled perfectly, say SubhanAllah and think about how Allah gave the person who designed it a smart brain.
When you see anything
a building, a person, an animal
Ponder over it.
(Lol please don’t be staring at people randomly)
Remember Allah through it.
Your walks shouldn’t just be physical.
They should be spiritual too.
They should clear your mind and remind you of your Creator.
And here's what this means for Barakah-based productivity.
Walking clears your mind.
Barakah hours focus your effort.
One charges your brain.
The other directs it.
Together?
You'll produce more in two hours than you currently do in 2 full days.
And with my Barakah Flow System, that means more money in your pocket.
While working less.
With the help and permission of Allah.
One of my coaching clients is a great example.
He came to me wanting to work less and earn more.

And Alhamdulillah, he's been seeing real progress.
The cool thing about this Brother is that he’s very fit and active.
So naturally, his productivity is way higher than most people.
Allahumma Baarik to him.
If that's where you are,
if you're exhausted, unfocused, pushing important work to tomorrow
Then I'm opening three coaching spots for the month of June.
I'll work with you directly to help you work less and earn more.
Only three spots.
And only if you're serious about making a real change.
If you are, respond to this email.
[Respond to apply for June coaching]
Until next time,
Ali
